Our office has extensive technical equipment for structural diagnosis, damage analysis and examination of building material samples. This includes among others:

• Potential field measuring instruments (Profometer Corrosion, CANIN, in-house developments with single and multiple electrodes)
• Reinforcement searchers (Hilti Ferroscan, Profometer, Würth BDM1)
• Georadar
• Impact Echo

• Drill dust extraction equipment
• Drill core extraction equipment
• Devices / systems for corrosion and moisture monitoring
• Wood moisture measuring device
• Coating thickness gauge for coatings on metallic materials (Elcometer)
• Ultrasonic thickness gauge for metallic materials
• Equipment for sampling structural steel, prestressing steel, etc. (miniature angle grinder, reciprocating saw e.g. for spark-free sampling of steel samples up to 48 mm in diameter, etc.)
• Equipment for magnetic particle testing
• Endoscopes / video endoscopes of various diameters
• Light microscope with up to 100x magnification in transmitted and reflected light technology with connected digital image processing
• Equipment for chemical analysis of building material samples (e.g. chloride analysis, carbonation depth of concrete samples, pH value determination etc.)

Due to our close cooperation with the Institute for Building Research and other institutes of the RWTH Aachen University as well as other material testing and research institutes, we are able to offer suitable tests or testing equipment for a wide variety of problems.
